How to make claims at PaySika

Small reminder on what to do when you encounter a payment problem with PaySika

PaySika account recharge problem
It can happen that when you recharge your PaySika account, your mobile money account is debited but your PaySika account is not credited. Don't panic...
Either it's just a connection problem and it takes maximum 24h for the money to appear automatically in your PaySika account.
Or it's really a communication problem between our partner's mobile money platform and the PaySika system. In this case, it is imperative that a PaySika agent initiates the claim with our mobile money partner. This can take up to 36 hours.

What you need to provide to PaySika:
The amount of the transaction,
A screenshot that proves that you have been debited on your mobile money,
A screenshot of your history showing the claimed transaction,
Your phone number attached to PaySika
And the phone number used to make the recharge transaction, if different from your PaySika number,
The date you made the transaction.

Withdrawal from PaySika to your mobile money account
If you make a withdrawal from PaySika to a mobile money account, you are debited on PaySika and you are not credited on your mobile money. Don't panic, this is an interconnection problem between the two respective systems. Only the intervention of a PaySika Agent can solve the problem. He has to contact the concerned mobile money operator to check if the person has really not received his money. If it is the case, the person is refunded, not on his mobile money, but rather on his PaySika account and he is asked to do the transaction again. It takes about 72 hours to get the complete returns from our partners.

What you have to provide to PaySika:
The amount of the transaction,
A screenshot of your history showing the claimed transaction,
Your phone number attached to PaySika,
And the phone number used to make the withdrawal transaction, if it is different from your PaySika number,
The date you made the transaction.


Payment by credit card.
If you made a payment by credit card and it didn't work, don't worry.
If your PaySika account has been debited but the transaction did not succeed on a website (or at a physical merchant), don't panic. The money will be automatically returned to you after 7 working days maximum. If after this period, you still haven't received anything, contact immediately PaySika customer service. Please note that PaySika customer service will not be able to do anything if the 7 days period has not passed.

What you need to provide to PaySika:
The first 6 digits and the last 4 digits of the credit card number used,
The amount of the transaction,
The date you made the transaction,
The name of the website, merchant/store where you made the payment,
A brief description of what happened.
