How does PaySika simplify KYC identity verification?

Like all banks and neobanks, PaySika is required to carry out rigorous KYC checks to onboard and retain its customers.
What documents are required for KYC checks at PaySika?
Once your application has been downloaded or updated on the stores, it's time to check your identity.
KYC verification is a simple, standardised process common to most financial institutions.
Personal details
Fill in your personal details such as :
- Full name
- Neighbourhood
- City
- Occupation and etc.
Documents
Select the type of document you wish to use to verify your identity:
- National identity card (CNI)
- Receipt
- Passport
- Residence permit
NIU (Unique Registration Number)
If you already have a registration document issued by the tax authorities, you can film it or upload it directly into PaySika.
If you don't have one, PaySika can generate one for you for 3000 FCFA.
Selfie
Take a photo of your ID while holding it in your hands. A detailed tutorial is available in the application to guide you.
Location
- Simply activate your GPS to indicate your neighbourhood, or upload a water or electricity bill as proof.
Important to note
If your account is not verified, it will be created but will remain inactive. Your functionalities will be very limited. It is therefore strongly recommended that you check your profile to take full advantage of PaySika's services.
