How to unlock your Xaf card?

Dear users of the PaySika virtual Visa card, it may have happened to you that following several failed payments, your card has been blocked. As a result, only one question comes to mind: How do I unlock my card? In this article, we explain why this happens, how to unlock your card and what to do about it soon.

First of all, it is important to know that when you try to make a payment on a merchant site and it ends in failure, PaySika pays a fee for it. This means that for each failed payment attempt, the partner charges us a fee as a penalty. It is to reduce this that we alert you whenever you have a failed payment so that you can take necessary action against it. Only after 3 failed payment attempts is your card blocked.

WARNING: If payments continue to go through when the bank card is automatically blocked, it may be deleted.

What to do once the card is blocked?

1- Top up 500 FCFA on your account

The first step is to make a deposit of 500 FCFA into your account. This amount represents the fees applied by the partner to the user.

2- Click on "unlock my card"

After the first step, you just have to go to the part reserved for the card and simply click on "unlock my card" and you're done.

For future payments, please make sure you have enough funds in your card before making a payment. You can also remove your card information from the merchant sites where it is registered. This is to prevent these sites from making automatic payments, which could result in your card being blocked if it does not have sufficient funds. It is also possible to block your card yourself when you are not using it.

Do not hesitate to write to us via our networks or via the chat of the application in case of concern.
