How to unlock your PaySika bank card after 3 failed payment?
It may have happened to you that after several failed payments, your card gets blocked. And so, one question immediately comes to mind: How do I unblock my card? In this article, we’ll explain why this happens, how to unblock your card, and how to prevent it in the future.
First, it’s important to know that when you attempt a payment on a merchant site, PaySika pays fees for it. This means that for every failed payment attempt, our partner charges us a penalty. Moreover, too many failed payments damage our credibility with several merchant sites, which can even lead to our cards being banned on some platforms.
To reduce this, we notify you each time you have a failed payment so you can take necessary action. A card is only blocked after 3 failed payment attempts.
- On the home page, click “Unlock your account.”
Since the card is now linked to the account, unblocking your account will also unblock your card.
- A pop-up will appear explaining the reason for your card being blocked. Click “Unlock the card.”
- Then, select or add a number from which 500 XAF will be debited as the unblocking fee.
- Once done, enter the amount and confirm the deposit.
- Finally, validate the transaction and your card will be immediately unblocked.
⚠️ Warning:
- If payments keep going through while the card remains automatically blocked, it risks being permanently deleted.
- When your card is blocked, you cannot perform any transaction with PaySika.
