How to delete a top-up number in PaySika?

The ability to delete a deposit number depends on your situation. Please identify your case below before getting started.

⚠️ Important information

  • You are limited to 1 deletion per month and 5 deletions per year.
  • This action is irreversible.
  • However, you can add a new number at any time.

Case 1 — You only have one registered number (default PaySika number)

Deletion is not possible.

Your default PaySika number is protected and cannot be deleted.

If you want to delete a deposit number, you must first add a second number. You will then be able to delete the second number if needed.

⚠️ Your default PaySika number will always remain active.

Case 2 — You have two numbers from two different operators

  1. From the home screen, tap Deposit money
  2. Locate the second number in the list (the one that is not your default number), then tap the icon located on its right
  3. A menu will appear: “What would you like to do?”
  4. Tap Delete number
  5. Read the confirmation message, then tap Yes to confirm

💡 Example: if your main number is MTN, the removable number will be the Orange number, and vice versa.

Case 3 — You have two deposit numbers from the same operator

  1. From the home screen, tap Deposit money
  2. Select the relevant operator
  3. Tap the icon located to the right of the second number
  4. In the displayed menu, tap Delete number
  5. Confirm the deletion by tapping Yes

⚠️ Only the second number can be deleted. The default PaySika number always remains protected.

Done!

The number has been removed from your PaySika account.
