Job description:

As a junior quality assurance engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all testing activities, under the supervision of the Senior QA Tester, to guarantee the quality and performance of our applications. You will work closely with the development and product teams to identify issues, improve processes, and ensure an optimal user experience.


Key responsibilities:

Test end-to-end transaction workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and data integrity.

Execute manual test cases for: RESTful APIs, web applications, mobile applications.

Perform regression testing prior to production releases to validate system stability.

Log, track, and manage defects using Shortcut (or similar defect tracking tools).

Assist in writing and maintaining detailed test cases, test plans, and test documentation.

Support and maintain basic automation scripts under supervision.

Validate application behavior within Docker containerized environments.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.

Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.


Desired profile:

Experience: Minimum bachelor's degree (Bac+4) in Computer Science with at least 01 year in QA testing (experience on fintech projects or similar is a plus).

Main tools: exposure to automation tools such as selenium, Appium, cypress, Pytest, maestro.

Technology understanding: basic understanding of Docker containerization and how applications run in containerized environments. Understanding Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipelines.

Knowledge: working knowledge of Git commands (branching, merging, pull requests). Knowledge of basic SQL queries for data validation and database verification.

Soft Skills: technical leadership, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills.

Fluency in English is mandatory.
