# What is the lifespan of my PaySika Xaf card ?

*Everything You Need to Know About Validity and Renewal*

* *### Validity Period of Your XAF Card

Your PaySika XAF card (virtual or physical) functions like any standard bank card, with one key difference: **it’s not linked to a traditional bank account** and is easily obtainable via the PaySika app.

* **Duration**: The card is valid for **1 year** (until the last day of the expiration month printed on the card).
    
* **Post-Expiry**: After the expiration date, the card becomes inactive and unusable.


### How to Check Your Card Details

1. Ensure you have **at least 1,000 FCFA** on your card.
    
2. Click on the card in the app.
    
3. Enter your **PIN code** to view: Expiration date, Card number, CVV.

### Renewing Your Expired Card

When your card nears expiration: **Delete the expired card** in the app and **Create a new card for** **1,800 FCFA** (one-time creation fee). The Process isInstant and seamless within the app.
