# How can I deposit money into my PaySika account

Making a deposit into your card is the very first step once you become a PaySika user and want to carry out a transaction. From now on, with PaySika, there’s no need to top up your account before topping up your card—the deposit directly funds your virtual bank card, whether via Mobile Money or a bank transfer. Simple, right? So, just follow the steps below to get it done.

| 1- Via Mobile Money

With a Mobile Money account, topping up is easy.  

**Step 1:** On the home screen, click on “Deposit Money"
**Step 2:** Next, click on “Mobile Money.”
**Step 3:** Select or add a number from which the amount will be debited.

A pop-up will appear on your screen asking you to enter your secret PIN to validate the transaction. If the pop-up does not appear and the top-up number is on the same phone as the PaySika app, simply dial *126# for MTN or #150# for Orange. Once done, you can now use your funds to make transactions quickly and securely 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.

**Step 4:** Enter the deposit amount and click **"Next"**.  

**Step 5:** After entering the amount, click **"Confirm"**.

A pop-up will appear on your screen prompting you to enter your secret PIN to validate the transaction.

* **If the pop-up does not appear**:
    
    *   For **MTN users**: Dial ****126#* (if your PaySika app is on the same phone).

* For **Orange users**: Dial **#150#**.

Once completed, your funds will be available for fast and secure transactions! 🎉

### Method 2: Via Cash Bank Deposit

**Step 1:** On the homepage, click **"Deposit Money"** under the **"Home"** tab, then select **"Bank"** instead of **"Mobile Money"**.  
**Step 2:** A new page will display a list of partner banks. Select your preferred bank.  
**Step 3:** Enter the tra nsaction amount, click **"Next"**, and follow the instructions in the app.

### Method 3: Via Bank Transfer

**Step 1:** On the homepage, click **"Deposit Money"**, then select **"Bank"** and **"Transfer"**.  
**Step 2:** A new page will prompt you to **"Add a New Bank Account"** if you haven’t linked one yet.
